PARENT PARTICIPATION GAME

As a parent, you constantly hear "it takes a village." But life often gets in the way of participating—especially when the village is your child's school. Then, an educator had a bright idea: What if we applied video game principles to parent participation? What if parents earned points for school activities and could redeem them for gift certificates? That’s how PIMS Points, the school participation app, was born. Initially launched in New Orleans, it’s now being used in schools across Georgia, Maryland, and Texas.

The app is accessible exclusively to parents participating in the PIMS Points program. Click below to view the prototype.
