Perkins+Will, a renowned architectural firm in Los Angeles, has designed some of the city's most iconic buildings and was celebrating a major anniversary. I was commissioned to create several banners to be displayed in their offices for a year. Drawing from their design principles, I developed 13 panels inspired by LA's freeways, which I envisioned as pathways for the ideas and values that define Perkins+Will. It was an exciting project that allowed me to dive deep into research and apply my full range of design expertise. The challenge came in presenting to the firm’s partners—seasoned professionals who understood design as deeply as I did, leaving no room for "faking it." In the end, the client was happy, and so was I.
